Follow-up visits can be either 60 or 30 minutes, depending on what works best for you and your treatment plan. We can meet in person or virtually—whatever helps you feel most comfortable and supported.

I recommend neuropsychological testing for assessment. This testing is conducted by a neuropsychologist (PhD or PsyD typically), can last approximately 2-4 hours. This can help clarify diagnoses such as ADHD or other possible learning disorders. Please check with your insurance plan to find a neuropsychologist in network to conduct testing.

I feel that disability assessments are not within my role as the treating clinician. Information divulged in treatment sessions remains confidential while in a disability assessment there is no confidentiality agreement. I prefer to remain in the treatment role so that I can maintain a compassionate and authentic rapport with clients.

I hold a DEA license in the state of Georgia and can prescribe stimulant medications. State regulations require an in-person meeting with clients prior to any prescription. As an evidence-based clinician, I require a copy of neuropsychological testing prior to utilizing stimulant medications for certain diagnoses. I do not typically prescribe any other controlled substances.
