Finding Clarity and Calm with Anxiety & ADHD Care
Psychiatric Support in Savannah, GA
Whether it’s constant worry, trouble focusing, or both, we help kids, teens, and adults untangle ADHD and anxiety. Therapy comes first, with medication considered carefully when it adds support.
It’s Hard to Tell What’s Really Going On
Anxiety and ADHD can look a lot alike. Trouble focusing, difficulty making decisions, restlessness, or even meltdowns can all be signs of either condition. For children and adults alike, it’s confusing and frustrating not knowing the “why” behind the struggle.
Maybe your child can’t sit still long enough to finish homework. Maybe you’ve noticed your own mind racing at night, replaying every decision of the day. Either way, it’s exhausting when you’re not sure if it’s ADHD, anxiety, or both. You want answers, tools that actually work, and a plan you can trust.

Anxiety Management
Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic. It might be irritability, perfectionism, stomachaches, or trouble sleeping. We help clients recognize how anxiety shows up for them and build coping skills that make daily life feel calmer and more manageable.

Clarifying the Overlap
Anxiety and ADHD often occur together, and it’s not always easy to separate them. We spend time sorting through the symptoms and triggers so that treatment isn’t just a quick fix, but a real solution that fits your life.

ADHD Treatment
We’ll look at the full picture, considering routines, sleep, nutrition, and stress, and ruling out other causes like anxiety. If an ADHD diagnosis is confirmed with neuropsychological testing, we’ll explore both behavioral strategies and medication when it’s needed.
More About Our Approach
I always begin with therapy before medication. Many times, focus and worry improve when we make small but meaningful changes: better routines, movement, calming strategies, or shifts in nutrition and sleep. If medication becomes part of the plan, I’ll make sure you understand every option and feel comfortable with the process.
My goal is never to simply “manage symptoms.” It’s to help you or your child feel more in control, more confident, and better able to enjoy everyday life.
